A.Hameed
was born on 25th August 1928 in Amritsar India. He passed his secondary
education in a school of Amritsar. He move to Pakistan after the partition of
India and passed his intermediate in Pakistan. A Hameed join Radio
Pakistan as a assistant of script editorA Hameed's first collection of short
stories received popular approve. He write many short stories and novels in urdu, and he also
wrote columns for national newspapers he also wrote for television and radio He
was written more than 250 books. Urdu She'r Ki Dastan, Urdu Nasr ki Dastan,
Dastango Ashfaq Ahmad and Mirza Ghalib Lahore mai are his most famous
books.Hameed died on 29 April 2011 at the age of 83
